Fun TTRPG Design Problems #

These notes serve as my thoughts and philosophy on various “Design Problems” that exist in the TTRPG space, generally these problems are things seen in 5th Edition Dungeons and Dragons that are inherited from its long legacy/lineage. Though I may give designers themselves some credit for working within the boundaries of that system’s legacy, I still believe many things could have/could still been improved to give the system more depth, and I lament that in its first decade that the 5th Edition lacked a meaningful bite, despite its sizable bark.

So, if any of these topics suit your interest, then enjoy the read! And perhaps, in a rare case, I can inspire you to think more about them as well!
